The security features of the student dorm network require all devices to be registered on the network. Gaming systems, such as the X-Box, Wii and others will have to be manually entered into the database by a member of the helpdesk staff. To have this done, you will need to email the Helpdesk with all of the following information:
- Your Name and Campbell Email Username
- Your Dorm Assignment
- Your Phone Number
- The Device Being Used
- The MAC Address for the System (Including the hyphens separating the number groupings.)
Note: If you register your machine and change rooms, you will need to notify us so that we can remove the old registration and reregister the device.
It's also important to know that when we say the username, we do not want any sort of gamer tag or other identifier that you use. That information is neither useful nor necessary to the registration process. It must be your Campbell Email Username.
