Extended Campuses @Campbell

SOC

Campbell University is a charter member of Service Members Opportunity Colleges (SOCMAR for Marines and SOCNAV for Navy, SOCAD for Army, and SOCCOAST for the Coast Guard). The purpose of this organization is to assist mobile military students in their degree completion by encouraging member institutions to minimize administrative barriers. Consequently, Campbell University and other members keep residency requirements low, readily accept military and other non-traditional sources of credit, and maximize credit transfer from other accredited institutions.

Students will be provided a SOC agreement after six semester hours of Campbell courses. Students are reminded that they must meet the residency requirements for the degree they are seeking. This is a binding agreement detailing the courses necessary to complete a degree with Campbell University.

All students at the Camp Lejeune/New River, Ft. Bragg, and Pope AFB campuses, regardless of whether active duty or not, are included under the general provisions and philosophy of SOC. The same residency and transfer provisions apply to everyone.
