How to Support the Campbell University Divinity School
A Greeting from the Director of Church and Alumni Relations
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Campbell University Divinity School students make sacrifices to become equipped for God’s call on their lives. Some postpone paying off undergraduate loans and add even more debt for educational purposes. Some leave fulltime jobs and uproot families. Others cut back to part-time jobs. And this is not just for one year but usually runs between three and four years.
Campbell University Divinity School is related to the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina and is an identity partner with the national Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. While all of these entities contribute to tuition expenses for our students that still leaves the rest of tuition, books and living expenses for the students to cover.
Below, I have listed a few ways that you can help us in the future. Thank you for what you do to make possible their obedience to God’s call. Thank you also for using your blessings to bless others.

Ways You Can Help
- You can pray for our students, staff and faculty. Pray for wisdom, for discernment, for health, and for energy for us as we seek His leadership.
- You can introduce potential students to us whom you think the Lord is leading into fulltime Christian service. Bring them to campus for a visit.
- You can ask your church to give through the Cooperative Program of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina in Cary, NC, using Giving Plans B and C. While Campbell University is funded in all four plans, the Divinity School is only in Plans B and C. Some of you may prefer to give through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., or through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina, headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC.
- You can ask your church to add a line item in their annual budget for the school for ongoing theological education needs.
- You can ask your church to provide a scholarship for students who attend Campbell University Divinity School.
- You can personally provide a scholarship for a needy student.
- You can give the school an outright gift such as aid for needy students or plan for such a gift in the event of your death.
- You can give or ask your church to give to special needs such as the World Religions and Global Cultures Center, the Church Music program or the Hispanic theological education program.
- You can encourage persons to donate to our new chapel fund. We are excited about the prospect of a new chapel opening in August 2009.
- You can ask your church to give us the opportunity to share how God is using this school to prepare some of His best students for Christian service in North Carolina and around the world. We are available for special emphases or on any Sunday or Wednesday evening.
For additional information about any of these opportunities to make a difference in a student's life and the world he or she will touch, please call us.
