Accreditations & Affiliations
Campbell University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award degrees at the associate, bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. All schools in the University are accredited by their respective licensing and/or accrediting organizations.
The Divinity School is accredited by SACS and by The Commission on Accrediting of The Association of Theological Schools (ATS). The School’s policy of decision making regarding faculty, curriculum, degree requirements, and library resources are in accordance with ATS policies and standards.
The Divinity School is affiliated with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, is a partner institution with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina, and works in cooperation with state Baptist associations and other local, state, and national educational and church-related organizations that represent compatible Christian traditions. Also, the Divinity School is affiliated with and a sponsoring institution for the Review & Expositor, a well-respected theological journal representing a consortium of seven theological schools.
Globally, the school is affiliated with the Baptist World Alliance and with South Wales Baptist College, University of Cardiff, enabling our community to learn and grow theologically with Christians from other cultures.
