The PGA / Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program, a four-and-one-half year college curriculum for aspiring PGA Professionals is a structured educational program accredited by The PGA of America. The PGA/PGM™ Program at Campbell University allows students to acquire the specialized knowledge and skills necessary for success in the golf industry.

Students at Campbell University will earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Professional Golf Management. Students will begin taking golf specific courses beginning with the first semester on campus. Class topics include Tournament Operations & Rules, Introduction to Teaching, Facility Operations, Turfgrass Management, and Golf Shop Operations. In addition to the extensive classroom studies, students are required to complete the PGA’s Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program, pass the Playing Ability Test (PAT), and complete 16 months of internship work experience.

Congratulations to Campbell University's  PGM Program on winning the 2007 National Championship!

2007 Champs

Campbell University’s PGM team recently won the Jones Cup at the TPC of Sugarloaf Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. They won a stunning 10 man playoff against defending champion New Mexico State.
