Special greetings to our distinguished “7,000 plus strong” alums. In my new assignment as the Associate Dean for External Relations, I am happy to inform you that the following new alumni specific initiatives have been added to the School Calendar; Alumni Recognition Day in the fall semester and Business Week in the spring semester. Furthermore, plans are under way to substantially increase the number of our Alumni Gatherings in each academic year. In 2007-2008, we had the opportunity to meet with our alums in the greater Charlotte and Greensboro areas. We are looking forward to the expected launch date of the University-wide Alumni Community in spring 2008 semester. This one-stop information hub will enable us to offer you a wide variety of new services and benefits in the very near future. In the meantime, please keep in touch as I plan to the same.
