Mission Statement of the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business

   The Lundy-Fetterman School of Business is committed to being a leader among business schools engaging faculty, staff, and students in both hands-on learning and academic exploration as a community of Christian scholars. The School is guided by the principle that there is no conflict between the life of faith and the life of inquiry. The Lundy-Fetterman School of Business strives to be recognized as a premier business school, responding effectively and efficiently to the needs, desires, and advancement of its stakeholders by offering both regionally and nationally distinctive programs.     

The Lundy-Fetterman School of Business is committed to developing leaders with an entrepreneurial attitude and a diversity of skills to serve in a global economic community. Through a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary skills, its programs help students develop an appreciation of the free enterprise system and the ability to solve the practical challenges encountered in their chosen professions. The School of Business will provide students with an understanding of the world of business, the dynamic utilization of cutting edge technology, create a passion in students for life-long learning and a commitment to service and ethical behavior. The Lundy-Fetterman School of Business affirms its commitment to build on the strong liberal arts foundation of the University in a family type environment fostering a personalized style of education.     

The Lundy-Fetterman School of Business offers degree programs that serve undergraduates, graduates, and executives. Core undergraduate programs serve men and women from all fifty states and other countries who live and learn in a four-year, primarily residential campus environment. Graduate programs serve professionals and also traditional students enrolled in joint BBA/MBA, MBA/JD, or MBA/PharmD degree programs. The Lundy-Fetterman School of Business also designs and delivers executive education programs in partnership with industry. The orientation of the Lundy-Fetterman faculty is teaching and service, supported and augmented by focused applied research. The faculty’s commitment to personalized instruction and building close relationships with students fosters the development of outstanding business leaders who will contribute to the well-being of society embracing the values of integrity, honesty, mutual respect, and accountability.
