Baptist Grants

ATTENTION students currently receiving a grant from the Baptist State Convention of NC. In the past, the Baptist State Convention has not required students to reapply for the grant. However, this year, the Baptist State Convention is requiring students to apply annually. You have NOT applied for the 2008-09 grant. To receive the grant – you MUST apply by midnight May 12, 2008.

Please send an e-mail to kbissette@ncbaptist.org. The e-mail must contain the following:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Parent name
  • Parent address
  • Newspaper name
  • Name of church
  • Address of church
  • Name of pastor
  • Pastor e-mail

You also must ask your pastor for a letter of recommendation which includes the date the student joined the church. This is due by the 15th of May. This letter can be e-mailed to Mrs. Bissette at kbissette@ncbaptist.org.

If you do not reapply - you will not receive this grant and you will be responsible for the shortfall.

Students have received three separate notices of this important change:

  1. Notice was in their Financial Aid Award Letter for the 2008-09 academic year
  2. On two different occasions, e-mail messages were sent to the students.
